During the first 10 days of the month of Muharram, referred to as Ashura, Imam Hussein and his family (AS) became Martyrs in the name of Islam and catalytic figures to the uprising against oppression.
This year, the CCMM, a Muslim community center in Montreal, has recreated key events depicting the horrific massacre of Imam Hussein and his family (AS) in Karbala through a man made panorama.
